Siyatha TV T20 Quiz is a novel quiz show featuring the participants from some of the leading schools across the country.
Rival schools will compete with one another in a series of general knowledge questions to win over 3.5 million in scholarships from IDM, and other attractive prizes. The entire format of the programme is based on the current and most popular style of cricket, ‘Twenty 20’
With the current big match fever around the schools, the ongoing IPL and the forthcoming T20 World Cup, this format will add more value and appeal to the Sri Lankan viewers.
This programme will be filmed before a LIVE audience filled with cheering school supporters and fellow classmates.
Schools from the Western, Central, North Central and Southern provinces will be selected for the phase one which will commence and be telecast on Siyatha TV in April 2010.
