According to a survey, only 2% of the children admitted to the Kindergarten get the opportunity to enter university. The other 98% will be disappointed. Less than 18,000 students are admitted to universities annually. Only those who complete their degrees in Medicine, Engineering, Science, Law and Management get priority in obtaining suitable jobs.
An evening of music featuring the Choir of Trinity College Kandy, presented by the British Council, will be held at the British Council Hall on June 14 at 6.00pm.
Trinity College Choir, which has functioned from the inception of the school, has a history of such performances through the times, and particularly in collaboration with the British Council on two previous occasions.
