The Prefects' Guild of Wesley College is the main student governing body highly reputed for its discipline and loyalty to the school.
The guild has always worked with great commitment towards undertaking projects that benefited Wesley and the community at large.
The projects thus undertaken have attracted lots of interest among students from many schools as well as the community. The Prefects' Day at Wesley College is scheduled to be on June 12 from 9 a.m. onwards at the College premises.
This year a Prefects' Day is being organized in Wesley after a lapse of almost 8 years and thus has an added importance to it.
This year's theme is "Outshine" and is intended to depict the outstanding qualities a prefect should possess over the rest, in terms of leadership and teamwork.
The event is intended to inculcate fellowship and leadership qualities in the prefects' fraternity and provide a platform for prefects to interact and build goodwill to cater to the lack of co-operation that is evident in the inter-school arena.
In this regard many fun activities and games along with an informative lecture by a prominent figure who will be sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience with the young leaders gathered at the event, is being organized.
The guest lecturer would be Mr. M. Adamaly, a prominent figure in the contemporary society.
Participation is exclusive and is only upon invitation and 30 schools have been invited with a delegation of six prefects from each school. All participating schools are kindly requested to bring along with them the letter of invitation. The dress code is casuals that represent the school (i.e. Guild T-shirt, etc.). Teachers-in-charge are welcome to be present if interested.
All schools that have received invitations are requested to confirm participation on or before June 8 via email.
For further details and confirmations please contact-contact.prefectsofwc@gmail.com or call any of the numbers given in the invitation letter. |
