The Certified Management Accountants (CMA) of Sri Lanka completed yet another milestone in their journey to bring the Management Accounting professional qualification closer home with eLearning. CMA partnering with the National Online Distance Education Service of the Ministry of Higher Education gives its students the stable infrastructure of an island wide computer network in their eLearning journey.
Students who wish to enrol to the CMA virtual classroom, or existing CMA students that wish to switch-over to the virtual classroom are provided with the eLearning option of study. The computer facilities offered by the island wide Network Access Centres are offered to CMA students free of charge.
This ideal option is available to students that do not have the comfort of a home computer with internet connectivity. CMA provides mentors for each subject paving the way for interactive learning sessions as well. The study content has been presented in a user friendly manner and has been analyzed by experts to maintain standards. Examinations will be held with the support of the Department of Examinations in the usual examination centres.
To those presently working and do not have sufficient time to participate in lectures, the eLearning facility is an ideal opportunity to reach their goal of obtaining a professional qualification in Management Accounting. Similarly A/L students contemplating their future are given the value added service of eLearning while undertaking other courses of study or work. To those in the universities and outstations this provides a convenient mode of learning for a professional qualification.
Study at your own pace and at your own time from an institute incorporated by an Act of Parliament and with technical assistance from CMA Canada providing an internationally recognized management accounting qualification which is affordable to all Sri Lankans via the CMA eLearning mode. |
