Maligawatte gang held for molesting minors

Seven persons in Maligawatte were taken into custody yesterday in connection with the alleged sexual abuse of two boys. The gang of seven was arrested after the victims’ parents had lodged a complaint with the Maradana Police.

According to the police, the suspects had repeatedly molested the two minors in an abandoned building near the Maligawatte flats.
