500 Scholarships from CFL

The Centre for Learning (CFL) is an Educational Institute, established on 16 May 2008 by the Barberyn Group of Companies (http://www.barberyn.com) to provide learning opportunities in life skills for people of all ages and walks of life at an affordable price.

The CFL located at 288, Galle Road, Mt. Lavinia has three well-equipped lecture rooms and a computer laboratory. The teaching staff is highly qualified with many years of experience.

The CFL currently conducts a range of courses in English Language (IELTS, Spoken English, English Skill Development, etc.), IT, and Early Childhood Education.
The Centre for Learning (CFL) is granting 500 scholarships to the following courses:

  • Diploma in English
  • Certificate in English
  • Spoken English
  • Diploma in Information Technology
  • Certificate in Information Technology
  • Computer Application Assistant

The duration of the courses vary from 3 months to 6 months.
The CFL invites those who are interested in taking the study courses to register with the CFL on or before 29th July 2010 and they are also invited to sit for a placement test on 30th and 31st July 2010 at the CFL. The recipients of the scholarship will be entitled for 40% deduction of the relevant course fee.
The objective of the Scholarship programme is to support students to follow complete study courses at a reasonable price.

Barberyn Group of Companies has a Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme (http://www.sahanasrilanka.org) and CFL is associated with this programme and maintaining of ward No. 40 of the National Hospital (NHS) and ward No. 04 Colombo South Teaching Hospital
