Ex-Jaffna MP injured in van-lorry collision

Former Jaffna district TNA MP Padmini Sithamparanadan and her husband were among five people injured yesterday when the van they were travelling in collided with a lorry in the northern town of Kodikamam, police said last night.

The van was proceeding to Jaffna from Colombo. The injured were admitted to the Jaffna hospital.
