IIHE awarded 3 scholarships to the most popular schoolboy rugger players of 2010, namely, Tharindu Chanaka - St. Anthony’s - Katugastota, Deen Cassim - Royal College - Colombo and Sudarshana Muthuthanthri - St. Thomas' College, Mt. Lavinia, to follow any of the University of Wales validated and awarded programmes offered at IIHE.

IIHE is the only institute offering full fledged and validated degrees in Business, Computing as well as MBAs from the University of Wales in Sri Lanka. This grand event was organised by 'thepapare.com' with the 'Grand Finale' being the All Star encounter between Colombo and Kandy combined schools.
