‘A taste for the new’- the book and wine tasting event presented by the British Council at the Park Street Mews last week saw a session of lively readings by Sean Amarasekera, Ruhanie Perera, Kumar Mirchandani, Tehani Chitty, Nuzreth Jalaldeen and Gill Westaway of the works of Shehan Karunathilake, Seneka Abeyratne and UK writers Benjamin Zephaniah, Sophie Hannah, Rob Mackenzie and Catherine Smith.
