Coffee Bean launches new outlet at World Trade Centre

Moving to serve the increasing needs of the business community

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will soon be opening its new outlet at the World Trade Centre, Colombo, expanding its services and catering to the rising demands of the business community of the country's financial and commercial hub.

With Sri Lanka making rapid economic progress, Colombo is increasingly attracting the global business community. Located in the heart of Colombo's Central Business District, the World Trade Centre is home to the headquarters of some of the largest businesses in the country, international brand names and leading corporations. Thus, the new outlet, aims to cater to the business community of the World Trade Centre, and neighbouring areas.

Expressing his thoughts, Ashvin Mohinani, Co-director of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stated, "It's also a way of saying thank you to our customers and notifying them that we are now at the World Trade Centre. Our goal is to bring our products to our customers and find new ways of enhancing the customer service relationship with them."

The outlet will offer an extensive variety of high quality coffee, tea and ice-blended drinks, together with a delicious range of meals, which include sandwiches, salads, pastas, freshly baked breads, cakes and desserts. In addition, facilities such as free Wi-Fi will also be available.

The new outlet of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at the World Trade Centre will be open from 6.00 am to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 6.00 am to 2.00 pm on Saturdays. It will be closed on Sundays, mercantile holidays and Poya days.

Renowned for its high quality and freshly brewed products, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Sri Lanka, is part of an international franchise with a network across 19 countries. Established in 1963, it is the oldest and largest privately held speciality coffee and tea retailer in the United States.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf was launched in Sri Lanka with the aim of providing a distinct café experience to the discerning customers. The first outlet opened at Bandaranaike International Airport (Departure Lounge) in a bid to serve both the local and international traveller, while its outlet at Horton Place offers a space for customers to unwind while enjoying a fine blend of coffee and tea.

The café has been recognised and rewarded over the years for its commitment to high-quality, maintenance of food hygiene and safety standards. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf won the award for the Best Restaurant in 2008, "A" Grade Restaurant in 2008 and 2010, Best Bakery in 2010. An endeavour of Front Door Private Ltd, the café is committed to be 'simply the best' in everything it offers.
