Local web developer Saberion is offering an online booking system for hotels which it says is "(unlike) most other booking engines that continue to charge commissions on transactions" by offering an "one time fixed product cost and a hotel owned model", according to a statement by the company.
The product, which also features "user friendly Single Page Booking Window which enables clients to select rooms, enter details and finalise payments all at one go", is currently being used at Paradise Road Hotel Properties (The Villa Bentota and Tintagel Colombo), the Amaya Group, Aditya Resorts, The Weir House, Kahanda Kanda and the Island Hideaway (Maldives).
According to Saberion Chief Executive Mufaddal Lukmanjee; "Our expanding range of solutions for the travel and hospitality industry includes dedicated search engine optimisation and online marketing, iPhone and iPad solutions, digital signage and interactive web and mobile solutions.
Over the last few years we have been fine tuning our online payment and reservation systems and are in a position to facilitate the end-to-end integration of most backend reservation systems to our software preventing the unnecessary double entry of information”. |
