The Sri Lanka Army rugby team led by P.W.M.A. Susantha will take part in the annual Cobra ten-a-side rugby tournament in Malaysia.

The team is coached by former Army rugby skipper Saliya Udugama.
The Army rugby team finished sixth in the Caltex League Rugby Tournament and were also semi-finalists in the Rugby Sevens and were quarter-finalists in the Clifford Cup knock-out tournament.Army emerged winners of the Inter-Services Tournament beating Sri Lanka Air Force and the Navy in the league.
The Army team comprises of members of the regular force of the Army who learnt the rudiments of the game after joining the Army.
