Ananda Colours Nite on Dec. 8
The Ananda Colours Nite 2010 will take place on December 8 at the Kularathne Hall to felicitate Anandians who have excelled in the field of sports.

The Sports Council of Ananda College, together with the Prefects Guild will be organizing this event. A gathering of more than 1000 distinguished invitees will be in attendance.

Chennai 7s postponed

Much awaited Chennai Rugby Sevens which was scheduled to be worked off this week end was postponed to February next year. The reason for the postponement is not very clear at this stage.
Sri Lankan sevens outfit will participate in this tournament before leaving for the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens which will be worked off at Happy Valley Rugby Grounds in late March 2011. This is an IRB recognized series tournament.

Earlier Sri Lanka was to send a development side for the Chennai Sevens but because of this postponement they will send the best possible side.
