Glory Express in Kandy

The ‘Glory Express’, a float, atop which is a giant ball in four colours for hand printing was in Kandy yesterday. This is part of the build up to the World Cup.

The organizers hope interest will be at fever pitch by the time Sri Lanka-Canada game gets underway on February 20.

The Glory Express has already traversed through Jaffna, Talaimannar, Trincomalee and Polonnaruwa. Batticaloa was not possible because of floods. Other areas in the country will be covered in due course.
