Royalist Ramith Rambukwella seems to be taking control on the top spot in the Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year All Island Contest at the end of Count No 9. At the end of this count Rambukwella has polled a hefty 6865 votes as against Thurstanite Supun Navaratne who is in second place with 3741 votes.

In the Emerging Schools Contest once again it is a home and home contest with Kavindu Ashan Perera leading with 741 votes with his team mate Charitha Ruchiranga polling 422 votes.
In the International Schools Contest Mohammed Azher Samsoodeen of Leighton Park International has jumped into a slender seven vote lead over Gavitha Wickremasinghe of Lyceum International Wattala.
