Pyxle was selected by Renuka City Hotel PLC to engineer the solution for an online room reservation and booking system, the company said.
The Pyxle.RES solution (RES solution) presently deployed at other major hotels in Sri Lanka, was selected by Renuka based on the functionality, support and scalability offered by Pyxle. The system was launched simultaneously with the “Rediscover Renuka” refurbishment at the hotel; which culminated with the entire re-launch of the hotel for 2011, the statement added.
The solution provided by Pyxle covered the design and development of the new corporate website, a comprehensive CMS (Content Management System), the reservations and booking engine and payment gateway integration with Commercial bank of Ceylon.
The Pyxle.RES booking and reservations system has been developed over a five year period with numerous technology and usability upgrades. Functionality such as Hot Deals, Up seller, Tour planner, Multiple hotel integration, Interactive map, Dynamic pricing, and Reporting are offered within the system as standalone or optional modules. The latest upcoming version of Pyxle.RES will even offer direct GDS integration (Global Distribution System) and back office integration to Accounting Applications or hotel management systems.
