Puttalam Lagoon is the second largest lagoon in the country, surrounded by the main land from the one side and the beautiful Kalpitiya stretch from the other side. Nearly about 150 kms away from the capital Colombo, Kalpitiya and surrounding islands identified as the latest tourist destination of Sri Lanka.
