Inspired by Sri Lankan authentic traditions and eco friendly architecture, "Maalu Maalu" reinterprets the ethnic style of a Sri Lankan fishing village - "Wadiya". And was opened by Hon. Basil Rajapaksha, Minister of Economic Development recently.
The Hi Fi Centre (Pvt) Ltd, a part of the Debug Group of Companies was the official Supplier for Audio Visual Systems. Other jobs carried out by Hi Fi were: Sound System for the Main Restaurant, Sound System for the Bar, Sound System for the Sea Side Restaurant, Sound System for the Spa, Karaoke Lounge Sound and Video System and Disco Lighting and Sound System.
In this Project, Hi Fi Centre used Harman Professional Products for Sounds, which included JBL, AKG, Sound Craft and Crown. Further, EPSON Projectors were used for Video Application and new state-of-the-art Lighting System was designed and installed for the Disco.
All the rooms and public areas are designed, in a tropical backdrop to blend with the natural nvironment, midst the elegance and luxury. Simple interior design, which highlights the indigenous Sri Lankan culture with a blend of old and new traditions.
The long sunny beach at the edge of the turquoise blue sea and natural surrounding of lush vegetation keeps the balance of the nature, making Maalu Maalu Resort a true getaway from the busy outside world and its worries. Further, it extends the warmth of traditional Sri Lankan hospitality with 40 rooms overlooking the ocean in the east cost of Sri Lanka where Passekudah bay offers one of the best beaches in the island.
The Hi Fi Center has already signed up with Mega projects in the Leisure and the Hospitality sector, which will be installed in the near future. |
