The local office of dominant chipmaker Intel said it had "supported" the recently concluded Kegalle Mini Infotel, in what it says was the largest regional ICT exhibition for 2011.
According to Intel's statement, the "Mini Infotel in Kegalle was represented by a large number of local and multinational organisations showcasing ICT related solutions. Several categories including computer technology, IT solutions, telecommunication and broadband services, gaming, media and entertainment, software, electronics retail, banking and insurance, manufacturing and SME as well as ICT training and education was available for the hundreds of participants."
Further, Intel's local Country Business Manager, Indika de Zoysa, noted: “Over the years, we have always played a significant part in the Mini Infotel as we believe that our contribution will take this nation one step forward to fulfilling a national promise.” |
