The opening day saw BRC sending the Leo CC bowlers on a leather hunt with Fahim Saleem and Hasitha Lakmal sharing a 110 runs partnership for the third wicket helping them to end the day on 322 for 6.

BRC resuming from their overnight score they frustrated the bowlers again and added another 84 runs with overnight batsman Dharshana Chathuranga (who was unbeaten on 20) going on to make a half ton.

Leo CC in their turn lost three quick wickets before recovering to make a respectable 212. Made to follow on with a deficit of 190 runs, they fared no better losing their top order batting for 76 runs, still needing 114 runs to avoid an innings defeat when play begins today.

Shehan Jayasuriya and Ashen Silva guided Moors with both of them being unfortunate to miss out on a ton against Air Force at Rifle Green. Moors resuming from their overnight score of 114 for 1 went on to make 278 in reply to the Air Force score of 207 which came on the back of a 131 runs stand for the second wicket between Shehan, who made 95 and Ashen 98. Air Force batting the second time ended the day by making 102 for 5.

Moratuwa SC took advantage over Sebastianites when play stopped on day two at De Zoysa Stadium in Moratuwa. Sebs resuming from their overnight score of 28 for 3 lost four wickets in the morning session before being bowled out for 167. This was in reply to Moratuwa SC’s 233.
