CMA Sri Lanka President Prof. Lakshman R Watawala made a presentation of a Sri Lankan Tea and a Tea Set to CPA Australia on its 125th Anniversary at the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) conference held recently in Brisbane, Australia.
The presentation was made to the President- Elect of CPA Australia John Cahill accompanied by Jim Dickson Board Director and Alex Malley, CEO CPA Australia. The CMA has a close relationship with CPA Australia and has signed an MOU with them.
Prof. Watawala met with the three main Professional Accounting Bodies in Australia CPA Australia, CA Australia and IPA (formerly NIA) Australia recognised by the Accounting Standards Board, Financial Reporting Council and the Migration Authority in Australia and they also are members of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and CAPA.
