Centuries by the two captains K I N Karunarathne (104 for Maliyadeva) and Vihanga Kottawasingha (106 not out for Rahula, Matara) were the highlights of the drawn encounter between Rahula College Matara and Maliyadeva College Kurunegala.
Rahula College hosted this match at the Uyanwatte Stadium, in Matara. Incidentally this is the first under 19 game for the 2011/2012season to be played in Matara.
