Petes under 18 shuttle doubles champs

The St. Peter’s Under-18 Badminton team emerged doubles champions at the All-Island Badminton tournament held in Nuwara Eliya recently. The Peterites had an unbeaten run towards the doubles title as they beat Ananda and D.S. Senanayake by the same margin, 3-0 in the first round. They confronted Nalanda in the semi-final and won the clash comfortably by 3-0 before beating Ananda in the final by 3-2 to clinch the title.
