Mayan revolution at Ruskin Island

On December 9, 2011 Ruskin Island in Panadura will be taken over by a Mayan Revolution as ‘The Offeshore Life’, presents ‘Return of the Gods.’

This 24 hour live beach experience is bound to amaze one and all as the setting of an ancient Mayan Temple comes to life with costumed performers guided by beats, spun by the cream of the Sri Lankan Electronic Dance Music landscape.

‘Return of the Gods’ also features the Bludge Lounge, an interactive space that brings in creative elements, installations and experimental art, giving revellers yet another dimension to absorb and enjoy the Offshore journey. What is offered is something unique, where all guests become performers, and will be under the spotlight.

Over the past years Offshore Life has proudly showcased and collaborated with international DJs, music brands and labels. This year the focus is on home grown electronic dance music DJs and will feature the cream of what Sri Lanka has to offer, combined with live elements of electric guitars, percussions and more .

After the arisen sun, the fun continues, as the AM Circle begins its dose of Sundrenched Balearic Beats with flashes of beat driven EDM, as the revelries continue up until sunset when as the last glows of dusk reveal, the three simple solutions, handed down to us by the ancients in their wisdom, to make life more enjoyable during our time on earth, they were called music, dance and emotion.
