Dr. Parakrama Dissanayake, Chairman - Aitken Spence Maritime and Logistics and Director of Aitken Spence PLC, recently graduated from the Oxford Strategic Leadership programme conducted by the University of Oxford, Said Business School and has been admitted as a University of Oxford Business Alumni.
In a statement, Dr. Dissanayake said he pioneered commercial maritime education in Sri Lanka in his capacity as Chairman/Secretary of Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and was the first Sri Lankan to have obtained both the highest qualification in shipping (FICS -U.K) and Logistics & Transport (FCILT- U.K).
