Change of thought

I suppose the most obvious one was that my father (who the book is dedicated to) was a social scientist, but to be quite honest when I was young I myself never wanted to follow in his footsteps, I wanted to be an inventor! I found myself drawn to the social sciences quite unwittingly only in my late teen years.
