An evening for future leaders an initiative of TMC and CMI, Sri Lanka

The Management Club (TMC) joins hands with the Sri Lanka Branch of Chartered Management Institute ( CMI) in presenting a new series of interesting evenings for our aspiring leaders where they could discuss issues of national importance with experts who possess proven capabilities in their respective arenas.

Chandra Embuldeniya

These evenings will take the form of a group discussion where participants will be free to enlighten themselves by clarifying their doubts and learn from the vast experiences of the respective presenters at each of these meetings.

Participation will be by prior reservations as not more than 50 could be accommodated at these evening meetings that will be held, at the Park Street Mews Restaurant, every third Tuesday of the month, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The inaugural meeting in this series will be held on Tuesday 21st February 2012 where Mr Chandra Embuldeniya - Founder and First Vice Chancellor of the Uva Wellassa University will share his thoughts on the importance of enhancing “employable knowledge” in Sri Lanka’s quest to become the Knowledge Hub of Asia.

Prior reservations for this event could be made by contacting Ms. Waheeda Carim by email (waheeda.carim@dhl.com) or by phone on 0773 44 22 54.

TMC and CMI is being supported by Peoples Bank and Park Street Mews in this latest initiative which they hope would provide the ideal forum for young managers of Sri Lanka to accumulate a wealth of knowledge and experience in their journey towards becoming future leaders of the country.
