Policyholders of Ceylinco Life across Sri Lanka continue to celebrate windfalls of gold as the 14th edition of the life insurance leader’s ‘Family Savari’ mega promotion progresses towards its grand finale. Conducting the penultimate bi-monthly draw of the year-long promotion, Ceylinco Life has identified another 100 plus winners to receive gold to the value of Rs. 5 million, the company said in a statement.
One of these winners receives Rs. 1 million in gold, two of them win Rs. 250,000 each, five receive Rs.100,000 each, 25 get Rs. 50,000 each and another 70 receive Rs. 25,000 each. The jackpot winner at the 5th draw conducted recently was a policyholder from Dambulla, while winners of the other higher-value prizes were from Weliveriya, Kandy, Nelliaddy, Nochchiyagama and Galle, the statement said.
A total of 412 winners selected at the four preceding draws have already received Rs. 20 million in gold. When the promotion culminates with the conduct of the sixth and final draw in September this year, a total of 618 Ceylinco Life policyholders would have won Rs. 30 million in gold as a reward for their loyalty.
