The Colombo Tea auction saw a greater degree of market stability following the Iran-Israel ceasefire, Forbes and Walker market report stated.
Auction volumes continued to be maintained around 6 + million kg. High Growns improved in prices while liquoring teas gained sharply. Plainer poor leaf teas remained weak, particularly the BOPs. Most categories of large leaf teas were firm to dearer and there was strong demand at the lower end. (SD)
