The death toll in the Ella bus accident has increased to 15 with 16 others injured.
Among the persons killed in the accident are the Tangalle Urban Council Secretary T.W.K Rupasena and 11 other staff members of the Council.
The driver of the bus also was killed in the accident which occurred onThursday night.
