The Commercial Bank’s annual countdown to the Sinhala and Tamil New Year has begun with the launch of the bank’s biggest seasonal promotion to date for credit and debit card holders.
Sri Lanka’s biggest private sector bank said in media release that it has announced that discounts of up to 60 per cent will be offered at 4,000 merchant outlets across Sri Lanka on selected days till April 30 exclusively for Commercial Bank cardholders.
These discounts will be offered by 183 merchant partners retailing clothing and fashion accessories, 60 lifestyle products partners, 27 partners retailing shoes and leatherwear, 59 hotel partners, 13 jewellery partners, 12 healthcare partners, 12 salon, spa and cosmetics partners, five supermarket partners, five automobile partners, four watches and accessories partners, four travel partners and 12 dining partners.
Additionally, 73 online vendor partners will offer discounts to ComBank credit and debit card holders during the promotion period.
The bank also offers easy payment plans of upto 60 months on white goods purchased during the promotion period.
“Every festive shopping season, we go all out to ensure that there is something for every customer segment, and that the discounts are truly attractive,” the Head of Commercial Bank’s Card Centre Nishantha De Silva commented. “We bring in more merchant partners to match our growing cardholder base, and expand the range of products and services on offer to ensure that Commercial Bank cardholders can enjoy tangible savings.”
He said the participating merchants represent the largest collection of offers this Avurudu season, with discounts available across an extensive spread of outlets across Sri Lanka.
