Tea production in July recorded a drop of 1.83 million kg totalling 21.36 million kg compared to last year figures, Forbes and Walker market report stated.
All elevations except for the Low Grown elevation showed a decline in comparison with the corresponding month of 2024.
The January – July 2025 cumulative production totalled 157.12 million kg recording an increase of 5.97 million kg compared to 151.15 million kg for the same period last year. (SD)
