People's Bank's 'Mahajana Mehewara' CSR drive recently completed yet another project to provide solar power electricity facilities to under-resourced schools together with Manusath Derana. Under this novel concept which combines sustainability with education, solar panels along with an inverter system were provided to Babare, Solepura Primary Vidyalaya, the bank said in a media release.
Gracing the occasion were Babare, Solepura Primary Vidyalaya Principal H.W. Neela Pushpalatha, along with the staff of the school, as well as representatives from People’s Bank including Kurunegala Regional Manager Rohan Perera, Assistant Regional Manager Karuna Herath, Galgamuwa Branch Manager Chandani Rathnayake and bank staff along with students.
