Under the guidance of Venerable Uggoda Damminda Thero, Chief Incumbent of Makandana Sankalpa Viharaya, marking 50 years of the Piliyandala Lions Club arrangements were recently made to hand over the ownership of two houses built with the full financial donation of the current Chairman of the Piliyandala Lions Club, Sinha Sarath Dharmasiri, to two low-income families in the area.
During the current year under the presidency of Sinha Dharmasiri, six houses have been provided to low-income families so far with the full financial donation by himself.
