Sri Lanka’s delayed monthly monetary policy on Nov 24

The delayed Monetary Policy Review for the month by the Monetary Board of the Central Bank will be announced on Thursday November 24.

The Board meeting will be held on the previous day. Normally the monetary policy review is presented in the first week of the month however no reason was given for the delayed presentation. It may have been delayed due to the Budget 2023 being presented on Monday November 14, official sources said.
