Tourism industry groups, Uga Escapes, Walkers, and Taru Villas have joined hands with SriLankan Airline's leisure arm, SriLankan Holidays to establish a multi-brand collaboration and partnership to add value to their customers’ holiday experience.
These collaborative partnerships intend to promote domestic and inbound tourism through packaged holidays and thereby revive the national economy which has been battered by the coronavirus pandemic. In addition, SriLankan Holidays hopes that co-operation with these three industry giants will stimulate tourism with attractively priced holiday products aimed at encouraging travel, the airline said in a media release.
As the future of the tourism industry continues to evolve, SriLankan Airlines, as a responsible airline will encourage safe tourism as part of its responsibility towards the Government of Sri Lanka.
Going forward, SriLankan Airlines will soon sign agreements with Uga Escapes, Walkers, and Taru villas in a bid to aid the recovery and growth of inbound tourism and eventually outbound tourism.
SriLankan Airlines, the national carrier of Sri Lanka and a member of the oneworld alliance, is an award-winning airline with a firm reputation as a global leader in service, comfort, safety, reliability, and punctuality.
