Hemas Holdings has generously contributed its newly launched Diva Power Germ Guard washing powder to several hospitals including the Colombo East Base Hospital, Mulleriyawa and the Base Hospital, Homagama. Both hospitals which are treatment centres for COVID-19 patients will now have the additional support of using Diva Germ Guard detergent powder to fulfil their laundry needs.
Dr. Janith Hettiarachchi, Medical Superintendent, Base Hospital Homagama and Dr. (Mrs) Muditha Perera, Deputy Director, Colombo East Base Hospital, Mulleriyawa accepted the donations on behalf of the institutions, the company said in a media release.
Diva, the flagship detergent brand of the company unveiled ‘Diva Power’ its new powder and liquid range - Diva Power Germ Guard and Diva Power Colour Guard in October 2020.
The Diva Power Germ Guard powder and liquid detergent has been specifically formulated to shield the family and destroy 99.9% of germs from clothes.
Diva Germ Guard is infused with Kohomba and Lime, time-tested natural ingredients known to fight germs.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
