Sri Lanka's national aviation training facility, the SriLankan Aviation College will be playing host this month to the IATA Global Training Partner Conference 2017 scheduled to be held on May 15-16 at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo, SriLankan Aviation College General Manager Primal De Silva said at a media conference today (Monday) at the SriLankan Airlines office in Colombo.
With a participation of about 150 delegates from 50 countries, the conference will be attended by IATA training experts from around the world discussing emerging trends and opportunities in the areas of travel and tourism, aviation and cargo. Sri Lanka is currently a regional training partner (RTP) for IATA among a group of only 25 countries worldwide. IATA trains more than 100,000 professionals and students annually in more than 169 countries. (SD)
