realme, the emerging mobile phone brand that recently made its way into the Sri Lankan market was named one of Fast Company’s “50 Most Innovative Companies in China” for 2020.
The annual list selected companies that had continued to grow despite the challenges faced in 2020 and maintained resilience and persistence in adversity – adapting to the environment, embracing changes, and at the same time insisting on being good, the phone brand said in a media release.
Commenting on Fast Company’s recognition of realme as one of the 50 Most Innovative Companies in China, Li Bingzhong, founder and CEO of realme said, “There are two ways to innovate: One way is the research and development of high-tech, so as to have the innovation ability in high-precision fields, and the other way is to greatly reduce the cost of mature or about to mature technology and popularize the technology. realme is taking the second path."
Following its launch in Sri Lanka, realme has continued to offer cutting-edge devices that cater to the needs of the nation’s dynamic and stylish youth. The aspiration of realme is to provide the young generation with smartphones and AloT products with the latest technologies and trendsetting design at a reasonable price; each product of realme leapfrogs the same price range in terms of design and performance.
