Colombo shares after a mixed performance for most of Friday, the last day of the 3-day work week, was down at close amidst some routine work being restored in Parliament.
Analysts say that now that it’s evident that the governing party (SLPP) hasn’t got a majority in Parliament, the market will see a correction on Monday.
The All Share Index was at 5,929.98, down by -0.34 per cent with S&P down by 0.24 to stand at 3,106.97 on a Rs. 580 million turnover. (DEC)
