Some Chinese nationals touring the country have been refused accommodation at certain hotels following the outbreak of the coronavirus from China.
Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) Mahen Kariyawasam told Sunday Times Online that hotels should not consider all Chinese nationals as being infected with the virus.
He pointed out that certain hotels had refused accommodation for Chinese nationals holidaying in Sri Lanka at present.
Currently there are over 800 Chinese tourists in the country. (SD)
