Chennai-based TVS Motor Company today announced a partnership with Abans Auto, a leading distributor in Sri Lanka, to launch its 200 cc passenger three-wheeler TVS King, the Hindu Business Line reported.
The TVS King will be priced at Lankan Rupees 6,91,850 and will be retailed across Abans Auto’s over 200 showrooms and appointed dealers in strategic locations in Sri Lanka, the company said in a statement.
“Furthermore, Abans Finance will provide finance schemes to the customers of TVS Motor Company at affordable rates,” it added.
TVS Motor Company Senior VP, International Business R Dilip said: “Abans Group is known for providing superior customer experience in sales and service, it is an ideal platform for TVS King to gain acceptance in the country.”
Abans PLC Managing Director Behman Pestonjee said TVS King is ideally suited for Sri Lankan conditions with an affordable price.
“Together with financial assistance given to prospective buyers through Abans Finance, we are confident that it will market well in our country,” he added.
