Colombo Hindu College secured the trophy of All Island Championship 2022 for Physical Training last week, just three years after the game was introduced to the school. In 2019, just months after it was introduced, the school won first place at provincial level competitions held in Kalutara.
The team’s hard work coupled with dedication and rigorous training led the school to emerge as the Champion in the island level amidst frequent disruptions in school academic year in recent years due to global pandemic.
Appreciating the win as a milestone in school history, parents and school community stressed the role played by school principal K.Maniparan, and the Prefects of Games (PoGs) Kausigan (previous), Dharma (current), Teacher in-Charge Mrs. Kavita and the team coach Mrs. Iswari.
