The HSBC Ceylon Literary & Arts Festival will hold its second edition from January 17-19, at its inaugural venue, the Colombo Public Library. The Library celebrates its centenary year this year.
This year's festival features over 32 sessions with more than 50 authors and artists. Curated by Mita Kapur, the festival brings together international and local speakers, including Pulitzer Prize winners, Gratiaen Prize recipients, and State Literary Award winners. The three-day event offers a diverse mix of workshops, panel discussions, and creative sessions spanning literature, art, film, and youth development.

‘The Dance of a Water Garden’ is architect Ajantha Ranaweera’s second solo show will open at the Paradise Road Galleries on January 11.
The artist looks at the complex interplay between political power and the lives of Sri Lankans drawing from temple murals as his inspiration. The exhibition continues at the Paradise Road Galleries until February 6.
