On Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m., at the Jasmine Hall, BMICH, author- photographer
Gehan de Silva Wijeyeratne will deliver Nations Trust WNPS monthly lecture. He will
talk on ‘The amazing biodiversity of Sri Lanka: An overview of the plants &
animals on this magical island’.

Cue Theatre will treat audiences to a en evening of ghostly suspense as they present
‘Woman in Black’ from March 13-15 at the Punchi Theatre. The popular play by
Stephen Mallatratt  has also been staged continuously for over 30 years in the West
End and this is Cue Theatre\s second run with it.

On Sunday, March 22, at 7 p.m., the Colombo Philharmonic Choir will present “Ubi
Caritas: An Evening of Enduring Classics from Our Archives” at the Chapel of the
Hope of the World, Ladies’ College, Colombo 7. The programme is drawn from choral
works performed by the Colombo Philharmonic over its 70-years of existence. The
choir is conducted by Harin Amirthanathan.
