“Floral Fusion” - an exhibition of flower arranging by the Shi-en Ikebana & Floral Art Society of Sri Lanka (SIFAS) will be held on February 16 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on February 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ivy Room of the Cinnamon Grand Hotel.
This exhibition of Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging and the Western art of flower arrangements, will also see expert floral designers from SIFAS sharing their knowledge at a demonstration where guests will learn how to effectively communicate colour and movement in a floral design.
The demonstration will be held on the 16th at 4 p.m. for exhibition ticket holders only. Tickets are priced at a nominal Rs. 500 and part proceeds will go to the Thalassemia unit at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital.
