To mark the OGA’s 90th anniversary the Visakha Vidyalaya Old Girls’ Association is set to celebrate its 90th anniversary this year with the Visakha Walk 2024 followed by a carnival on the 15th of June, 2024.
This much anticipated event aims to raise funds for the school’s development projects, enhancing educational facilities and infrastructure.
The celebrations kick off with the Visakha Walk, where students, parents, alumni and staff will come together in a vibrant display of Visakha spirit and camaraderie.
The walk will commence from the school grounds at 3.00 p.m. and end with a Carnival at the Thurstan Cricket Grounds from 6.00 p.m. onwards, promising an evening of fun and entertainment for all ages.
The carnival highlights include live performances by the popular band, 2FORTY2 and Dushyanth Weeraman, a combination known for their scintillating music and stage presence.
There will be food stalls offering a diverse array of delicious treats. Additionally, various activities and games will be available for children, making it a perfect family outing.
