Renowned Bharatnatyam exponent from India, Pavitra Krishna Bhatt will perform with his spouse Aparna Shastry Bhatt at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre auditorium on March 18, 2019 at 6.00pm located at 16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 07.
Pavitra Krishna Bhatt started his initial dance learning at Kalanjali under Kumari Vasantha and later trained under the renowned Bharatanatyam exponent Guru Shri Deepak Mazumdar. An A grade artist of Indian Television, Pavtra has choreographed and performed in many thematic presentations in India, Dubai, Malaysia, Indonesia Canada and USA.
He has been awarded as ``Shanmukasankeetha Shiromani” by the Shanmukanantha Academy for his continuous service in the field. Pavitra has established Pavitra Art Visual Bharatanatyam Institute in a suburb of Mumbai which is considered as one of the leading dance institutes in Mumbai. AparnaShastry Bhatt is a disciple of Guru Shri Ratha Sridhar from Bangalore. She has performed widely in India and abroad and is also an experienced teacher, choreographer and organizer.
