For Kumar, “nothing is made up; everything is just real” and he will show the audience just why this is in his one night stand-up comedy show ‘KUMARSUTRA’ on March 17 at Hilton Colombo Grand Ballroom.

The show promises to entertain Sri Lankan audiences in Colombo this year.  Singapore based Anita Dorai who presented “Threads of Time” fashion extravaganza last year in Colombo in her second venture here presents ‘KUMARSUTRA’ featuring the best of Kumar’s splendid cutting- edge humour. A significant portion of the proceeds from the show will go the Wheels from Wheels Foundation.

In his stand-up performance, Kumar is eagerly looking forward to talk about his own sexual identity and sex, making fun of both men and women. “Lots of women don’t understand men. Men can not multi-task. On the other hand, women are like dolls, if you’re lucky you get a Barbie doll, if you’re unlucky you get Annabelle,” Kumar presented a sneak peek of the show at the media launch held at Hilton Colombo.

Women are funny creatures who like to nag, he quipped. “Marriage equals nagging. When you’re in love, wonders happen. When we get married we wander what happened,” Kumar said, leaving the audience in hysterical laughter.

‘KUMARSUTRA’ is supported by Hilton Colombo, managed and produced by Imran Saibo’s Classic Funtime.

Tickets for the show priced at Rs.9000 which includes a champagne dinner are available at the Hilton. The show will be for those aged 18+.
