If you were cruising down the streets of Colombo last weekend and happened to spot
Batman, a female Goku , Spiderman and Lancel Lannister casually strolling down the streets,
don’t worry you weren’t hallucinating. You just happened to witness the Cosplayers of the
Lanka Comic Con ‘Bus Mob’ out on the streets of Colombo.
On July 29, an eclectic group of cosplayers and members of the Lanka Comic Con set off on a
bus to peruse the streets of Colombo, stopping over at the Anim8 studios for a photo opp,
before heading of to the Sri Jinananda Children’s Home in Wellawatta, with goodies in hand.
The ‘Bus Mob’ ended with a final appearance being made at the ASUS Republic of Gamers
Qualifying event held at Crescat Boulevard, Colombo 03.
The ‘ Bus Mob’ is the official kickoff event that marks the countdown to the ASUS Lanka Comic Con
2017, which is to take place on August 26 & 27 , 2017 at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The Colombo High Court today (28) sentenced former parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra to three years of Rigorous Imprisonment over charges of the involvement of an abduction.
